Day 8 - Non-Christmas Christmas Cards

You don't always need to purchase holiday-themed stamps and tools to create great seasonal cards... sometimes you just need to think outside the box!  Have a good look through your stamp collection and think of ways that you could "holiday-up" the items you already own.

I used a floral set from Couture Creations called "Memories" to create today's card.  The flowers in the set looked vaguely like poinsettias to me, so I stamped them in shades of red and combined them with a fabulous Christmas sentiment stamp to produce a quick, non-Christmas Christmas card.

YOUR TURN: Think outside the box to create a non-Christmas Christmas card.
Upload your creations HERE.

What a gorgeous card! You are right that the flowers look like poinsettias. Have to take a second look at my stamps.

Before you can think outside the box, you have to be wise enough to know there is a box.

Fabulous card and yes the flower does resemble a poinsettia which still give a Christmas feel to the card.x

The card is beautiful. But the idea of thinking outside the box is my favorite.
Life would be different if people try to do this exercise more often! :)

Another beautiful card from your hand. It was a difficult challenge for me - but I tried. Have a blessed Sunday.

That pop of red is really stunning Beccy! I just finished another challenge that asked us to "shop our stash." I'll have to go through again and see what I can use for this challenge. Thanks for the inspiration!

What a wonderful idea. It still looks Christmassy - even using a non- Christmas stamp.
